Gaspods

There are numerous different Gas Pods available for use with your Biogas Analyser, GEM2000 and GA2000 Gas Analysers that allow them to measure additional gases. Each Pod is constructed of stainless steel, colour coded and clearly marked with the relevant gas and measuring range.

The pod is plugged into the communication port of a gas analyser. A short length of flexible tubing (also supplied) links the exhaust port of the Gas Analyser and the inlet of the Gas Pod. Gas passing through the Analyser is routed to an electrochemical cell in the Gas Pod and then exhausted from the Pod. The gas concentration will be displayed on the relevant reading screen of the Gas Analyser and the reading will again be displayed on the screen.

If you currently own an infrared gas analyser and you purchase one or more Gas Pods, you may need to upgrade your operating and download software. This upgrade will be provided to you free of charge.

The software will also upgrade the calibration facility to include any of the Gas Pods connected.

Please note that Gas Pods are NOT certified as intrinsically safe and therefore should NOT be used in hazardous areas.
